Zodwa Mtirara is a Mthatha born – Vaal raised singer, writer, and poet. She holds a Diploma in Music Education from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, a certificate in Project Management Administration from Leap Institute, and a bilingual (IsiXhosa and English) Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing from Rhodes University. She has works published in local and international anthologies and series, both on print and online. Her MA thesis, Ingqumbo Yomthondo Kukuzika Kohlanga - Thorn of the Rose is set to be published in October 2021.
